Went to Mountain View (Silicon Valley) for work and saw a nice turbo wagon that is obviously someone's DD. Still sporting the Virgos, has a roof rack and was a manual car. Even the eggcrate grille is nice.

Suzuki

Saw this nice little custom Suzuki. Has a nice diesel conversion and a bunch of other stuff. This little trucklet would be killer offroad.

Random 1993 245 Classic

Still rocking the original basketweave 15" rims. Generally well kept. It's obviously someone's DD. Funny thing is that sometime in the not too distant future, it will be a collectable car. They only made a couple thousand of the 240 Classics. Its actually a pretty rare car.

Sometimes its the simple things

So, I got the extended studs put in, the 35MM spacers and the Tethys mounted. Along the way I also replaced the parking brake cables (which were stretched to death by the previous owner) and rebuilt the drivers seat. Went to start the car and it started fine - then died. After much ado, I ended up tracking it down to the main fuel pump not running consistently. Turns out it was the little single blade connector under the back seat was just making intermittent contact. its the little yellow wire. Sometimes its the simple things that get you. Along the way I also found the rear floor plug loose. I was wondering why the carpets were wet. Mystery solved. Some SEM prep and a little RTV and no more wet carpet.
